We went over today to present a cheque for £3000 to St George’s Hospital to Consultant Dr Nick Hyde and Macmillan Lead Cancer Nurse June Allen. We were made very welcome and had a good chat!
They are all looking forward to the new appointment starting in April which will help teens and young adults receiving cancer treatment in the hospital. Every year over 150 young people between 16 and 24 go to St George’s so there is a real need!
